

Dyeing
We have inherited the know-how over the past 60 years with various foreign technicians and consultants helping us improve our capabilities. We dye a various range of fabrics and methods, with each plant specialised in its own range of fabrics to suit both the machinery and the customer.

Kobba Dyers, established in 1974, has a weekly dyeing capacity of 70,000 kg and a speciality in dyeing of woven polyester and blends to suit the apparel and upholstery markets. Dyeing capability of rope form and open width form, atmospheric and high temperature machinery which can also process up to 3 meter wide fabrics.

Modern Kobba is equipped with more modern technology with its German Then and Thies, Air flow and Water flow dyeing machines. Using the Dye, net PLC controller on the machine for the ability to best control and monitor the dyeing process. Modern Kobba has a capacity of 50,000 tons per week to dye a wide range of materials , especially knitted cotton and blends for the apparel and fashion markets on open form. In addition , a Cold Pad Batch machine and a Continuous Washing Range is also available to guarantee continuity and good material flow.

Printing
Our printing department is located in Modern Kobba in Obour City in Cairo. The department consists of two German Zimmer machines printing up to 12 colors and two Stork Steamers and a laser engraver for screens. We also have a Mimaki Digital Printer for sublimation printing.

Our printing process starts with an experienced team of graphic designers to help the client with the selection of the design matching global forecasting trends. Then we start sampling with the seasons' latest Pantone colors. Following with the actual printing onto the fabric onto one of our machines. Our expertise is in reactive, disperse, pigment & discharge printing.

Finishing
The Finishing Department consists of German Bruckner and Babcock stenters, Momfort sanforizing and two Italian Lafer machines for carbon and raising finishing and a Spanish Anglada Tumble / Relaxed Dryer.
